First Steam working over the Down Cambridge Flyover
Thursday, 18th December, 2014

Although the Down Cambridge Flyover has been open since the 25th of June 2013 this is the first Steam locomotive to work over the track. There have been a number of steam workings up the branch but these have all taken the 'Old Road' and avoided Poppy Bank and the DCF altogether. This is an ECS move for a Cambridge to York railtour and is seen here before the sun has even emerged at 06:25.
